The Cherry App: How the Platform Works for Hosts and Agencies
The Cherry recruiting materials describe a video-chat app. Users pay for calls and send gifts, hosts earn diamonds for that activity, and agencies earn a weekly commission on the earnings of the hosts they bring in. This page explains how those pieces fit together.
What the Cherry app is
According to its recruiting policy, the Cherry app is a platform built around video conversation. The policy describes several kinds of paid interaction:
- Video calls, which pay hosts per minute
- Match calls, which also pay per minute, at a lower rate
- Gifts, which users send to hosts
- Text chat, listed among the earnings that count towards agency commission
- Live sessions, which hosts can be restricted from after repeated warnings

How the Cherry earning system is described
Host earnings on the Cherry app are counted in diamonds, not cash. The stated value is 10,000 diamonds = $1, so a balance of 1,000,000 diamonds is worth $100.
