Cherry App Policy: Host Rules and Agency Conditions

The Cherry app policy sets out conduct rules for hosts during working time. General violations lead to warnings: three in one day bring a 24-hour live restriction, and five in total bring a permanent ban. Serious violations and fraud are treated more strictly. This is a plain-language summary of the supplied rules.

Eligibility

The recruiting policy states that female hosts must be over 18. Minors must never appear on a call or live session. That is listed as a serious violation.

General violations

These behaviours during working time lead to warnings.

Unrelated activities

Doing things unrelated to hosting during working time.

Multiple people on camera

Anyone other than the host appearing on camera.

Inadequate lighting

Lighting too poor for the host to be seen properly.

Face not visible

The host's face is not clearly visible on camera.

Sleeping

Sleeping during live sessions or calls.

Stated penalties

Penalties for general violations
WarningsPenalty
3 warnings in one day24-hour live restriction
5 warnings in totalPermanent account ban

Serious violations

The policy names these as serious violations:

  • Minors appearing during calls or live sessions
  • Illegal drug-related activity
  • Offensive language or actions

The supplied policy states that repeated serious-violation bans may result in a permanent ban.

Immediate-ban categories

The policy lists three actions that lead to an immediate ban:

  • Allowing another person to use the host account
  • Obtaining diamonds through fraud or illegal methods
  • Colluding in malicious refunds

Account ownership, conduct and payments

Your account is yours alone

Only the registered host may use a host account. Sharing it is an immediate-ban offence. Never share your password or one-time codes with anyone, including an agency.

Professional conduct

Be alone on camera with your face visible and enough light, stay awake and attentive, and avoid offensive language or actions.

Payment conditions

Diamonds must be earned legitimately. Fraud and malicious refunds lead to a ban. Withdrawals are reviewed before payment, as explained on the Cherry payment policy page.

About earnings-related clauses

The policy contains clauses about how earnings are treated when rules are broken, and some of that wording is unclear. We report these as stated platform rules only. We make no statement about how they are applied, or whether they are lawful or enforceable where you live. If a clause affects you, ask for written clarification and consider independent advice.

Cherry agency policy points

  • Commission is tiered from 15% to 40% based on weekly host earnings. The document's examples use 10%, which has not been reconciled with the table.
  • Commission counts hosts' paid calls, gifts and text chat earnings.
  • Commission is calculated Mondays at 7:30 AM IST and credited to the agency wallet each Monday.
  • Sub-agency commission is 10% of qualifying sub-agents' weekly commission. The qualifying minimum is unclear.
  • Host violations reduce the earnings commission is based on, and can end a host's account.

Full details are on the Cherry agency registration guide.

Salary-plan conditions (separate source)

These conditions come from a separate salary-plan image, not the main recruiting policy. They apply only to the $21–$35 weekly salary that image describes:

  • Rush-hour window: 9:00 PM–2:00 AM IST
  • Working duration: 3–5 hours (the image does not state whether this is daily or weekly)
  • Call answer rate above 90%
  • Average call duration above 80 seconds

We have not confirmed that this plan is currently active. See the host guide for context.

Points awaiting clarification

We flag these wherever they appear on the site. We will update this page when they are confirmed.
